Delme Thomas

My work spans across multiple fields

At the heart of my work is storytelling. I collaborate with teams to design and deliver engaging events and immersive experiences—spanning live productions, video games, and interactive audio projects.

In 2024, I completed an MA in Events & Experience Management at Goldsmiths, University of London, graduating with Distinction and receiving The Gold Award.

With 14 years in the arts as an actor, writer, and creative maker, I bring a unique blend of artistic insight and practical expertise to the experiential space. My background in world-building, immersion, and play-driven design allows me to craft transformative experiences that transport audiences beyond the everyday.

Background

I am a multi-award-winning creative with a global portfolio. I am currently working with Wake The Tiger as the Creative Production Assistant, collaborating with the team to create the largest immersive art experience in Europe, basing its home in London.

I have worked extensively in the arts, and I am an Associate Artist with Fast Familiar, a digital studio specialising in audience-centric experiences. Together, we have devised and co-written a range of interactive projects, including video games, audio walks, and research tools.

I have also worked within in-store retail events, notably Lush’s Global Flagship Store on Oxford Street, curating interactive, customer-focused events. I designed and led a highly successful, not-for-profit London Pride weekend experience, as well as a Plastic-Free July campaign that resulted in a 13.93% increase in gross profit for 'naked products' and a 15% boost in unit sales compared to the previous year.

"
He has a knack of building instant rapport with people - whether they are 11 year olds co-designing a game or elected Council Members reviewing environmental policy. His easy, friendly manner engenders trust and confidence. He is analytical without ever making other people feel defensive or lacking. He is one of the most consistently professional people I have ever had the pleasure of working with, always calm under pressure, punctual and well-prepared. He is the person you want on-hand in a crisis - or more likely, the person who will stop a crisis from happening./  Rachel Briscoe, Fast Familiar  /
